Laura Carlson - I have read a number of books written by Andrea Smutz and have enjoyed all of them. But this book, And The Mist Was On The Mountain, is my absolute favorite. I so enjoyed meeting all the characters and the family commitment from all of them to their Mother and the Ranch. I read this book at a time when I needed to dive deep into a book and leave reality. What an escape. I believe I finished the book in just a few days. I could not put it down. I had to find out what happened next! The characters are just wonderful and the love stories, were believable and so comforting. It has been awhile since I've read this book, but I'm now going to read it again! It's that GOOD. 5/5
